“TIYAREH” – Short Film – Produced by Vahid Keshavarz
“TIYAREH” is a device used to extract olive oil, is broken by Shahryar, Hekamt’s friend, amidst their games and plays. Gohar and Hekmat frit over the incident and are terrified at the thought of their mother realizing the truth since she’s made an appointment to extract oil and is going to need the Tiyareh. With the help of Shahryar, the children go to another neighborhood to find a weaver who can fix the device before their mother finds out. During the course of their search, they come across an old woman who is unbeknown to them, she is their grandmother who’s cut all ties with their mother several years ago. The Tiyareh becomes an excuse for reconciliation between the two.
